This will be my final entry into the journal. It’s been a very long time since I’ve done this. Been…busy. It’s all over. I can hear them coming. I thought I could beat them. Finish off what the dinosaurs started ! For awhile, I succeeded and my enemy was seemingly all but extinct. Joy set in and there was peace. Just as I was about to go to America and steal George Bush’s Mission Accomplished banner, they returned with a vengeance. I was Napoleon once. Now, I am at their mercy perhaps a bit higher than a slave for I shall feed my roommate to them..buy some time with that...then resist till the end !!!
It all began about a month ago . The colony…that was what I called it, was testament to species adaptability to the harshest of conditions. Always as I made my way to the loo, their pervasive stench would almost overwhelm my senses. In the night, they would come out, 2 or 3s hanging out around the Colony, feasting on left overs or crawling on the walls, sometimes too close for comfort. *Shudders* Sometimes, *cries* they even invaded the showers stalls and tried to terrorize me ! Luckily I was brave and stared them right in their millions of eyes, sending a strong signal to them, showing them who is boss. Also.. hoping they would crawl away FASTER !!! Wriggling too if it helps make em disappear fastah !
One can only have a certain level of tolerance for such disrespect right ? I was all A-OKAY with them harassing me, I’m a big boy but when one tried to invade my friend’s food, enough was enough ! Luckily I was nearby with a can of Ridsect to deal swift justice. For all you readers, I won’t allow my friends to get hurt damn it !D:<< True story.
So I brought out the aerosol can filled with nerve gas one day and...I committed genocide. The colony’s main entrance consisted of 4 shafts. I pumped lethal gas into each one. After awhile, they started coming out. First the larvae and teens, in their dozens they rushed out ! Then the adults, the big cheeses starting to come out for air they would never get. One by one, until more than 20 adults were wriggling around on their backs to the song of DOOOM. I bet there were many more enemy dead in the deeper caverns of the Colony, where no human can ever hope to penetrate. As the dust settled (most probably it was poisonous droplets but aw hell) a great feeling of triumph washed over me. I’d done it!
For the next few weeks it certainly seemed like I’d done what my momma said was impossible. Beat the cockroach. Sides feeling smug, I was feeling cocky too, disrespecting the Roach ! Know why the dinosaurs failed ? They only had brawn. God didn’t give them “akal”. Dinos didn’t have our scientific minds. They could only rely on brute force. That was why they lost. Haha, brilliant stuff at that time ! …..The Golden Days..that is what I will call them. Imagine, not a single roach in sight for 3 weeks sides a single tiny roach that happened to catch me in the showers nude-.. I mean off-guard again and no sinister smell whatsoever ! Can’t blame me for being so deluded at the time.
Then one fine night, something black slipped past my foot a bit like a ghost but a tad more terrifying. At first I thought I was seeing things….then I saw it slip past again. This time I saw it as clear as day even as it disappeared under my bed…the same roach from the loo…I turned my room upside down to kill it which I did after making a bit of a mess. This time, I didn’t cheer on. Instinctly, I knew what was about to happen. The infestations was about to begin again.
As I finish typing this, things have gone from bad to super duper bad. Before this, the colony was always in one spot. I figured being so close to the jungles, maybe the other predators around here kept their population in check to that area only. Now I know they simply chose to be there. They are the kings of the jungle here, not the centipedes, the frogs and certainly not me. They are everywhere now. They linger in the alleys, lounge around in the showers. Carrying the can in my little shower bucket is a must now. I know it gives me a false of security for they can strike anywhere at anytime. God’s first assassins. His most ancient ones too.
I smell one now…don’t know where it’s coming from. I could be kaput in a second when they choose. Either while I’m sleeping or a direct assault in their thousands. Or worse. They could wriggle into my clothes as I shower D: …. Whatever fate awaits me, the 2nd Infestation will not rest until they have their revenge. Their new queen needs a host. She needs me….
Ooops ! maybe I am getting mixed up with Aliens now, roflx10000

A foreigner's look at our country...
Many here are pretty fearful of the going ons in our country. Scares me a bit too hearing the stories especially pointing to things that indicate restlessness and the threat to peace. I love this country although I do wanna leave it to explore the world, adventure so to speak...but I'll be back 1 way or another for sure ;)
Anyway, my Thai friend, a very nice guy, he likes Malaysia for what it is. He is impressed and admires the people here. Hopes his country is more like Malaysia. Many here might use the word police state but he rather describe what governs us here as the Rule of Law. I could argue with that but then I see that he is rather sad for his country in his country, there is no rule of law at the moment. He rather have a police state now. At the moment, over there, everyone is killing each other and getting away with it.
So this got me thinking, we all should take a deep breath and appreciate what we got here for a sec. It's good to go all microscope on our country, we got quite a circus here but from time to time, let's get bird's eye view of the region. In Indonesia, we got terrorism and sectarian violence, in Phillipines, recently more than 50 politicians were mass executed in an ongoing civil war, in Thailand..well that's pretty obvious. The list goes on. As a relative new member of the global community, we are among a select few that has progressed a lot especially among South-east Asian countries. Singapore surpasses our success rate but they're a real police state. Boo !
I'd say a pat on the back is in order. At the very least we are mature enough to fight with pens and technology rather than weapons. In these lands where anything is possible perhaps armed struggle is the one thing Malaysia tdk boleh buat !!! even when things get really heated. That's a rarity in today's world. Hope it remains that way.
Ok, now all back to the microscopes. There is much work to be done !

Spetsnaz VS Pirates, ARRR !!!!!
Well the Somalian pirates apparently have a spokesman and now, even a Pirate chief.....well I guess since Pirates of Caribbean had a Pirate KING, I suppose it's fair for pirates across the world to have at the very least a Pirate Chief. But this Pirate Chief just declared that all Russian sailors will be killed on the spot if they ever get captured again. Ohoh...bad move bud...you never ever poke the bear.
Guess this all started after the brilliant rescue operation by Russia's spec ops (spetsnaz) on the Moscow University tanker that freed all hostages and captured all 10 pirates 'cept 1 who was killed in the shootout. All in all, it was good. Then a problem occurred.
See, among the many problems fighting piracy is besides finding them, there are legal issues as well and I don't really know much but the Russians could not persecute these pirates because of..I dunno problems with international laws of the sea and the fact that Somalia has no real functioning government to take em in might be an answer...so what did the Russians do ? They let them go. Yeap. Only they did it gangsta style. They dropped the pirates in the middle of the ocean, hundreds of miles from any shoreline, without any navigation equipment, food or water. Basically, the pirates had to find land themselves and quickly. Till this day, the pirates are still missing.
What has happened is pretty obvious. Call it Mafia or cruel etc but since you can't hold on to these guys who will likely go at piracy again with AKs and RPGs because of "legal" reasons, the Russians did the next best thing and "released" them. Anyway, Chief is very unhappy about this and declared a sort of war. It's probably just more of a show of force but if he does go overboard, he might be really sorry soon.
For you see, Russia is not squeamish about action. Especially covert "wet" operations. Take Beirut's Civil War, a few Soviet diplomats were taken hostage by a militant group. There are many versions to this story but basically there are 2 versions :
1). The more sensationalized version is that the Ruskies captured the son of one of the militant leaders and sent the boy's ear to the family together with a message "Release our diplomats or we will castrate your son".
2). Another version was, the Spetsnaz kidnapped several members of the militant group and sent pieces of the militants back among them was a head with the same message promising more brutality if the diplomats are released.
Anyway, after a month of negotiations, the diplomats were released and no Russian was ever taken hostage again even as their American and French counterparts were kidnapped all the time. Talk about getting the message.
So yeaaa, enemies of Russia have been assassinated with a poisonous pen, gun disguised as lipstick or even a simple pickaxe. Russians are pretty tolerant by the way. While other Western nations shun Hamas calling them terrorists, who is the sole Western power that deals with them ? Bingo ! Russia ! So really, you don't poke the bear and the bear will leave you alone. Simple.

In other news !
In other news, in my BM class, because of a typical example of inaction by my trusted henchman and roommate ( he can be a real Patrick but he's loyal and honest, a good friend ! ) instead of doing a forum about something related to terrorism and the West, a real specialty of mine, my name was not put in his group's list and so the teacher had to push me into another group. Normally and being a BM class, this should have been an abysmal line of action with me all alone and doing crap about the science of bahasha iklan or faedah bahasa drama or apa itu dengan tatabahasa rojak n ori. Blv me, searching for information about these, I'd rather have my wisdom teeth removed !.. kla, just 2 je tis time !
Anyway, my teacher is a really cool BM teacher, BM needs more of these guys and the language shall be saved ! He thinks not like a nationalist or a BM activist, he thinks like an English teacher. In short, he thinks dynamically. Anyway, my predicament ain't so bad. I've been put into an all girls team that kindly accepted me in :D Before anyone get's any funny ideas, I will be a good boy and constantly remember what I got now....as well as the trouble that may happen if I forget..THE HORROR !!! It's just I love being in a girl's team because work always very effectively and efficiently when girls are around in abundance. Less work for me !
Sides tat, it's the topic that excites me the most, even more than terrorism. Ladies and gentlemen, the topic of our forum shall be...Sex Education in Malaysia. That is like sooo juicy with plenty of information on it..and not boring information of course ! Anything related to thaaaat, is never boring, I assure you. Even things related to terrorism can get extremely boring but no this, heaven's no ! This is going to be interesting to say the least :P
Of course in all honesty, teacher offered me to join the is History Important in Malaysia group as well and all eyes in the class looked at me expectantly to make the fateful decision. I am sure everyone knew my decision before even I knew. Come on, it's like being asked to choose between an international super-spy with a license to kill or be Spongebob. PPPFFFFFFFT, of course Spongebob ! Duh. Oh wait...

Confessions of a Capitalist Rebel
For those who know me well, you probably know I got deep reservations for Arabic lessons here in IIUM. But I got to be honest, I don't actually hate it, hate it. Hell no ! It's the word of God, I absolutely have to love it.
Still being the hardest language to learn sides mandarin, learning it is still a biatch. Still, having learnt some lessons, it ain't so bad. I see myself learning it even more in the future if left on my own. I love learning languages, my spanish is pretty good and I will complete my lessons and get that golden cert one day ! Then I'll learn Russian ;) If Malaysia didn't have such a mechanical outlook on what works and does not work, I probably would have taken some language courses in Uni. In these times, especially in mechanical Malaysia learning extra languages is a great career move especially for someone who wishes to disappear into the world one day, who knows...
Oooo but I can still get worked up on how Arabic is implemented here in the Human Sciences Department >:( That is the main problem, the main point. Why must we go all the way to level 6 while next gen syariah lawyers settle with level 4 of understanding. I shat u not folks, apparently our next guardians of our holy kanun2 will have far less understanding of the arabic language than a HS student that might end up in the glitzy fashion streets of Paris. Por que ? Well from what I gathered it's down to 3 main reasons. But I will get down to those 3 in my next post. Just want to assure the world ( atm probably just myself and a few who actually read this) that I am still committed. Oh, but being a capitalist rebel, means I know when a battle is lost and the benefits of group action ;)

I iz baaack !!!
Woke up today feeling ...nothing. Which is a good thing :D Finally after more than a week in pain every day, it's all over. The boys have finally settled down and now it's back to business. Left many duties unattended, ignoring ppl even rejecting phone calls from the Innermost Circle. No more ! I'll make amends soon enough..although this past week of me hardly talking, there have been far less disasters across the world, and in my line of belief, there are no coincidences so those who kept hoping for a swift recovery, you have chose me over the world....thank you :D ! I have chosen my friends well ;)
Well there is plenty for me to do now that I am all well, all kinds of relationships to amend, calls to return, scholarships to apply and studying to be done...it's too late for my arabic quiz, maybe even my arabic exam but i'll try !
First and foremost though is getting money I deserve from the state government...see awhile back in the day, the current masters of this great state promised all sorts of things and one of them involves giving RM1000 to all new undergraduates. Then like many of their promises, they modified it quite a bit but a promise is a promise and I intend them to keep it ! You just can't make promises like that to attract voters and change it at a whim now. Won't go into too much details at the moment but let's just say at the end of all this (hopefully by next week), a Gombak Penghulu is going to give a cop on the related form that "I" will hand to him. With this I declare Operation Masquerade is a go !
That's all for me ! Have a great day to all who read this (cept anyone related to state gov, ...best u dun read this) and take care ppl ! Once again, sorry for being so distant to many of you, like some horrible brooding Dark Knight plus a sissy attitude, and sorry for rejecting all your calls best friend ;) Gotta go and make amends ! Actually those can wait, I am thinking of a chilled delicious yogurt drink and some computer games back at the hostel now. Hasta luego mi amigos

Happy Mothers Day !
And the week wraps up splendidly with Mother's Day and moms loved my gift a lot, being a very good son for the day...most of the time :) Going to California Pizza in a bit to celebrate this important day. One way or another, I'm gonna chew em pizzas, ain't no stopping me !!
With this, I think I'll do a rundown of some important things that happened this week around the world ! Don't worry, while it is very tempting for me to do a Diva thing and biatch about my poor poor poor mouth as usual these days :(( sniff sniff sob sob sob sob sniiifff........eer....I won't..so rest assured readers !
On the international scene, Somalian pirates hijacked the Moscow University tanker only to find their would-be-hostages locked up safely in a panic room. With their safety assured, Russian special forces nearby did wonderful raid on the ship that freed the all hostages. There was a brief firefight in which one of the pirates was killed and his 10 other comrades surrendered after that. There were no casualties on the Russian side. All in all, it was great daring hostage rescue at high seas.
Apparently the pirates have all been released but some blv they have been....killed. Let's not speculate on that just yet but as a matter of fact, the Russians are brutal. You never want a Russian to be your enemy. It's almost as bad as having an American as your enemy ! If it's true, can't really criticise either, because if the pirates were to be released they would go back to a failed state and let loose again..we can thank the Americans for that, they supported the downfall of the previous Islamic government by aiding the Ethiopian invasion, going as far as bombing targets under the pretext of "war against terrorism". Ok, fair enough. But the Americans left without having a follow up plan and left Somalia in tatters without so much as battin an eyelid. That Islamic government was the first real gov the Somalians had in a long time (they were in a pretty bad civil war before that) and that was just torn down in a day or two. Now the country is back in a very bloody civil war and the same more radical Islamists are again about to win. The logic of some nations..astounding.
In the UK, the Conservative won the general elections by a simple majority, hung parliament ! I learnt that in my Comparative Politics a while back, time to put it to good use :D They have a pretty big number of votes so it is possible to get the Liberal Democrats to form a coalition gov with them. Labour is trying to this as well but IMO, they kinda lost so the Conservatives should have a chance to form the gov. I don't really like the Conservatives though, back in the 90's they had policies that may have encouraged the genocides that happened in former Yugoslavia.
Oh and the Nigerian President passed away. That it for me ! Happy mother's day all ! Have a blast ;)
